Why are the edges distorted like that? The vertical edge has larger width than the horizontal...?? And the cornes are sort of cut off...?? Both of this is totally puzzling me; I have not seen this before and I have no idea how it has happened or how to make it go away. I remember using Inkscape yesterday with this document, but I do not recall having this issue yesterday. But today it is suddenly there, so what on earth has changed?
If I create a new document and move objects there, or create entirely new objects in the new window, then the lines width will be normal again, but the corners will still be cut off no matter what I do. If I paste one of those objects back into the first document window the vertical edges will change into being wider, so it seems like whatever is causing the greater width is a document wide setting, while the cut off corners must be a program wide setting...
I have tried changing the buttons and settings for the edge/line path in the box in the top right corner, but none of it helps.
Also when I create a square and a circle, while I am dragging out the initial form the edges appear correct, but as soon as I let go of the mouse button Inscapes distorts the edges. The cut off corners are there all the time though so there are also cut off corners while dragging out the form.
I hope someone can offer some help or insight as to what is going on here.
