Printing blank pages and pdfs
I have a drawing I am trying to print. I have tried both printing directly to the printer and just to pdf. No matter which way I try I just get a blank page. I have multiple pdf printers that I have tried and none work. Exporting a bitmap does work though. What are the possible reasons for this and does anyone have a fix? I just downloaded inkscape yesterday so I do have the most recent version. Printing works from all other programs on my computer. Windows 7

Try to save as pdf instead of printing with a pdf printer.

Sorry to bump this thread, but I've got the same problem. A simple line drawing, with some captions in Arial, is printed as a blank page.
The svg file, see attachment, won't print from Inkscape, but exports fine to bmp, and can be printed from Irfanview. But that's a lot of hassle if you want to print repeated drafts.
I'm using Inkscape 0.48, Win 7, HP deskjet 3650. Never had any problems printing Inkscape drawings using this same setup. I would be grateful for any help.

I could save it as a pdf and can't see if anything is missing.
Resulting somehow that sadly it won't appear at the active topics section.
