Cutting object along pathes stroke

Postby LonelyStar » Sun Oct 31, 2010 8:20 pm

Hi,

I have an object from which I want to cut a "tube" (by cut I mean what the devision tool does) along a path.
I created a path through the object, than I set the path stroke width to something big. Now I want to cut from the object below the area occupied by the pathes stroke.

Can this be done?
Maybe, can I somehow convert the pathes stroke to something solid?
Thanks!
Nathan

Yes, you can convert the path stroke to a path, look under Path menu, then use it to divide the object below it.
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt
