Hi everybody!
I am new to Inkscape and need some help with t'he following problem:
I bought a high quality image from Iclipart, which I want to insert into the logo I am building in Inkscape.
The image is 2000x1200 and 299 dpi. I just need a part of the image, so I crop it in GIMP and save it as a JPEG. The saved JPEG is 81X134 and 299 dpi.
I then import the cropped JPEG into Inkscape. So I have the text of the logo created in Inkscape plus the pasted Jpeg, right?
Then, when I enlarge the whole thing in Inkscape, the text enlarges perfectly, no pixelation, no deterioration at all. But the Jpeg part deteriorates quite horribly.
Anybody knows the solution to this? Thanx a lot
