Postby inkschaap » Fri Jan 10, 2014 4:44 pm

I have this SVG:
https://openclipart.org/detail/182951/i ... rno-182951

I have open it in Inkscape
Now I wont to convert it to object, co that I can separate part with water on down from cube, and then make 3-4 cubes (by copy).

Is ti posible and how ?

Thank you

Hi

As Pilosopong Tasyo said this is basic editing in Inkscape - here is how:

Select all - CTRL A
Ungroup all objects - CTRL SHIFT G several times.
PressF1 to activate object selection tool.
Select cube by "dragging" mouse over the cube.
(Point beside a corner of the cube click and hold while dragging mouse over opposite corner.)

Group selected objects GTRL G
Duplicate CTRL D
Drag to where wanted. Repeat last two steps as many times as wanted.
(To get cube behind or in front of other objects - use PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN
with object {cube} selected.)
