How to: Equilateral triangle, bottom edge horizontal aligned

Postby justauser » Fri Nov 06, 2015 8:32 pm

Hi,

I can make a triangle, I can also make an equilateral triangle but it seems I couldn't find a way to make the equilateral triangle's bottom edge to be horizontal aligned. The desired triangle is a polygon, not a path. I mean it should be filled, not just lines.

Any tips to accomplish that?

Thanks.

Hi.

Hold Ctrl and move up vertically the cursor while using the * tool with the right settings for a regular triangle.

Thank you, that worked. Needed to lock the width - height ratio while changing the width of the triangle after creating it.
