Hello everyone,
I have just recently started using Inkscape, and have run into a perplexing problem. This seems like it should have an easy answer, so if it does, don't berate me for lack of searching; I have exhausted literally every possible combination of words on both google and this website to no avail. Anyway, here it is:
Basically, I want to draw a rectangle with the outline (or stroke, if you prefer) going around only some of the shape, not all of it. For example, I want to draw a square with a 1px wide stroke on the left and right sides, but no stroke on the top and bottom sides. How would I go about doing this? Thank you in advance for the help.
Stroke Going Around Only Part of a Shape
Re: Stroke Going Around Only Part of a Shape
You have to do it with multiple shapes. i.e. Draw a rectangle with no stroke, then draw a line on the right, and another line on the left.
