Hey All -

Sorry for the stupid question. I'm new to Inkscape and been working on an Image for a couple of days. Came into the office the morning and tried to open my .svg file. I get a flash which looks like the file opening but then it instanteously closes. I've tried clicking, double clicking, file open, recent files, etc. I was stupid and didn't have a recent copy of my work. Is my file corrupt and lost or is there a way to open it? I have no clue what happened or what I did to cause this. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

- Are you opening your file with Inkscape installed on a MAC in your Office?
- The version of Inkscape in you home is the same that you have in your office?? Is the same system too?
...

-Try to open the SVG file in a webbrowser (Opera, Firefox, Chrome). Can you see your design (or part of it) in the browser, or an error message appears? What message appears?

- Could you upload your problematic file here in this forum? There is an option to attach a zip file. Also, you can use file storage services as dropbox, googledrive, etc.


Let me tell you to solve this problem you will need patience and time. Hope you have both
