edit clip path w/o releasing clip?

Postby brynn » Tue Sep 07, 2010 11:09 am

Hi Friends,
I'm pretty sure this can't be done, but maybe someone knows a trick or something?

Is it possible to edit a clipping path without releasing the clip?

Thanks for your help :D

I am not sure that I am understanding your question, Brynn, but a clipped group or object's clippath is directly editable with the nodetool in my version of Inkscape. Select the object or group, switch to the nodetool and the path is available for editing with 'live' updates on canvas.... You do have to have the show clippaths button in the toolcontrol bar pressed...
Your mind is what you think it is.
