The color of the "Edit path by nodes" (F2) selection outline is black which means that when I use a black background I can't see the out outlined select area. How do I change the color of the "Edit path by nodes" selection box?

The normal selection box of "Mark and transfrom objects" (F1) works fine, as the outline has both a black and white outline in it, so it will be always visible on both black and white backgrounds.

I am using 0.91 r13725 and Windows 10.

Mmh, it has contrasting colors for me. Which Inkscape version are you using (and which operating system), toxigames?

Sorry, of course I should have mentioned that to begin with. I am using 0.91a and Windows 10.

Just tried 0.92 and it works like in your screenshot, so I guess its a 0.91 issue. I just need to upgrade a newer version them

Seems the bug has been fixed for some version in the 0.92 series
