I have an HP DesignJet T120 that makes use of a roll of paper. When I print long files it often will randomly fail to print a section of the image. To make it more odd, if I have two images side by side the other will print in that area, so it's not just randomly advancing the paper. Sometimes the blank occurs at the beginning of the print, sometimes in the middle, and sometimes the end or not at all. I've created my images by tiling and also tried copy and pasting, and creating a pattern, in all cases it still happens intermittently.
The file I'm trying to print is a linked PNG file (though it also occurs if the image is embedded). For the time being after I make the file I have to export it and then print it paint.net where it has no problems printing, but the color quality is slightly off in paint.net.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
