I am having problems with some of my inkscape svgs opening properly in scal. It will be perfect in inkscape but when I go to open it in scal it looks different. I don't know how to fix the problem. Here is an example of a key I made in Inkscape and then what it looked like in scal:
Can anyone help please?
HELP: Inkscape files don't look the same in SCAL

try to export it as an image from inkscape then reopen it then vector it then move it to scal
Re: HELP: Inkscape files don't look the same in SCAL
looks like transformation problems (SCALE not being able to cope with them?).
Can you check this out to see if it is the problem:
1) select one of the moved objects in Inkscape then go Edit -> XML Editor.
2)look on the right hand side. Is there a transform attribute?
Do the same for one of the unaffected ones.
If one has a transform attribute and one does not, then follow the steps here

Can you tell me which version of Inkscape you are using and which version of SCAL?
It appears that you may not have properly converted the inner parts of the key. If you can post the file or email it to me I'll take a look once I know which programs your are using. Ink. 47 has different requirements for objects than 46 when it comes to SCAL.

Re: HELP: Inkscape files don't look the same in SCAL
That looks like it is probably the issue earlier versions of SCAL2 had with Inkscape 0.47. That was fixed several releases ago. You can either update your SCAL to the current version (2.021), or you can use Path/Union in Inkscape before you import the file into SCAL.
If you are using SCAL1 then you probably have used Object/Group.
