Are you referring to a specific extension that you are using, Or are you asking in general?
- Describe a little more your situation. What OS are you using? Which version of Inkscape? Do you have a sample of the kind of drawing or diagram you want to render?

- Inkscape have some support for LaTeX equations, but I don't know howe extended it is

- You can export your diagrams to PDF, and then import in a LaTeX document

-With a little help of friendly programers ??

Unfortunately, it's no longer maintained, and will not work with Inkscape 0.91 (but might with 0.48.5)

Oh awesome! I had come across that one in my search, Moini. But because the extension files are buried in a 2nd level down sub directory, I never saw them. So I won't delete that wiki Repository item, and instead, I'll edit with a this link.
