How to upload inkscape files on facebook?

i want to upload my inkscape files on facebook but im not being able to! i tried to save it as a *png* format file but only an A4 size of the actual picture got saved to the new format... i would really like help on this issue! Thanks :)

Use the File=>Export Bitmap option to create your PNG. There are settings in there to let you define exactly what parts of the page are exported:

All the comics I've uploaded to Facebook were created this way, so I know it works ;)
