Can you help me with Inkscape?

When i try to Interpolate a circle it comes out like this:

Here are the settings for it:
Exponent: 0.0
Interpolation steps: 2
Interpolation method: 2
Duplicate endpaths (x)
Interpolate style ()
It is supposed to look like this:

I used to just be able to hold shit down and keep clicking and it would work
