underlined text with Text tool?

underlined text with Text tool?

Hi Friends,
It appears there's no way to create underlined text with the Inkscape text tool :o Is that correct, or have I just not found it yet?
So I suppose the workaround is just to draw a line with the pen tool, and adjust the width by eyeballing it??? :shock:
Please tell me there's a better way!

Hmm, I'm afraid there is no other way :(. However, when you need an SVG with underlined text in a document or something, you could change the XML: http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL.html"http://www.redpanda.nl/InkscapeUnderlined.png" class="postlink">Image
