no cutter plotter extension ( NEWBIE)
Real newbie question. i have looked and looked but am failing to find info. I just downloaded inkscape and inkcut, ( had another program that needed a dongle that is MIA) however when i go to the extension area to add inkcut there is no Cutter/ plotter extension so i cannot select inkcut. I am sure i must be missing a step but i do not know. i am running inscape 0.48.2 is that helps . Again sorry if this topic is somewhere however for the life of me i cannot find it

Hi - just a general question: why are you using such an old Inkscape version? The current one from February 2015 is 0.91:

That version comes with gcodetools and plotter extension. I don't know if that was the case in 0.48.2 (which was released September 2011).

Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
