Trace bitmap dialog/panel

Maybe cause I have not used it much previously, but now I have noticed that after Trace bitmap is used once, upon next activation it does not show any of the dialogs? Any ideas?

That has happened to me 2 or 3 times. Windows 7, 64-bit, Inkscape 0.48.1. When it happens, the only way I can fix it is to restart Inkscape. I have no idea what might cause it, or why restarting fixes it.

Both, restarting and wondering ,)
