hi, i'm starting with inkscape and i've found my first trouble. How can i export one *.svg file to *.PDF saving the original layers of the drawing??

Are you sure?...because I've seen pdf documents with layers. They were exported from CAD programs (Autodesk AUTOCAD, if memory doesn't fail me).

About the first question, Inkscape doesn't export layers in PDF, AFAIK... It's an intersting request, perhaps another open source program can do it. I will try to investigate.

It seems that Scribus can export to layered PDF, if the version to be exported is 1.5

From 1.5 PDF supports layers... Open some layered pdf file with Acrobat Reader... But, I did't find how to export from Inkscape (SVG with layers) to PDF with layers (2015)...

It's meant to provide multiple page support for Inkscape, but as far as I understand, it creates a multiple page PDF doc. I haven't used it, so I'm not sure what the specific steps would be.

As now only Scribus support exporting well the multi-layer PDF.
Choose save as PDF, select PDF 1.5 and tick "with layers", generate a layered PDF.
Scribus still fail importing its generated PDF with layers
