Hi everyone,
I'm using Inkscape 0.92. I drew a 100mm x 100mm box in the middle of the page and printed it, then I measured its width and height on paper and found out it both were 95mm instead of 100mm.
I also tried exporting it to PDF and print it with the scaling options disabled ("do not scale") and the result is the same.
I tried exporting to PDF two times: the first time Inkscape exported it with 96dpi. I noticed the box measured 95mm on paper, so I tried changing this setting to 101dpi (100mm / 95mm * 96dpi), but the result once printed was still a 95mm x 95mm box.
Am I doing something wrong? Why aren't drawing dimensions consistent when printing on paper?
I'm attaching the drawing for reference

Re: Inkscape printing wrong dimensions on paper
I'd check my printer settings for margins in that case. Some printers have margins where they cannot print (or the settings add some), and then the drawing is resized until it fits the printer margins. The drawing looks correct.
