Hi All,
I have just used Inkscape for the first time to produce a simple birthday invitation but my print software does not recoginise the page size. I want to print on 10x15cm photo paper and have set this in File>Document Properties but print driver always tries to print on A4.
I've gotten round the problem by first printing to pdf (which are created at the desired 10x15cm) and can then be printed OK. Has anyone experienced the same issue? I'm unsure if I'm missing something in inkscape or have a software problem, any assistance would be much appreciated.
I'm using the latest stable version (0.47) of Inkscape for windows with a Canon Pixma MP540.
Regards

Page size not recognised by print software
Re: Page size not recognised by print software
I really have no idea how to solve your problem, but I hate to see questions go unanswered
When I try to print from Inkscape on my XP machine to HP PSC 750 (printer), I find an option in Print dialog > Preferences > Paper Settings > Paper Size, for approx 15 different paper sizes. One of them is User Defined, which allows me to specify a custom size. I haven't actually followed through with this, so it may be there are other places where settings might be changed. But I'm guessing there should be some comparable setting on your system. Couldn't hurt to try, although I might not use the photo paper on the test runs
My reply will "bump" your message to the top of the list, and hopefully someone who knows more about it will see it.
