Wish I knew how to do lashes.
Still can't figure out how to get the right glossy effect on the eye.
Don't like the line art around the eye, but like it even less without it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Once they are corrected, focus on the basic shape of the eye to enhance your work:

After the basic shapes are right, can come deciding the used style. Without them set good, you won't be able to draw a good character/portrait.
