I need some help, Im on an Asus eee slate 121 everything worked fine before i installed inkscape , now, after I installed inkscape other programs like the gimp and corel painter started getting this blinking mouse pointer, and everything is " double clicking " every time I click something ( when I click add layer it adds 2 layers, and every time I hit the File tab it disappears immediately because of the double clicking ) also there's a tiny little circle I've never seen before that appears every now and then, here, I have a video showing the problem, I already uninstalled Inkscape but that didn't solve anything

PS. It only affected some of my programs like photoshop-gimp-painter-art rage, sketchbook works fine and I can even play games, the problem exist only in the programs i mentioned

ok I solved this, i seems Inkscape messed my pen drivers, i downloaded wacom drivers again and that solved the problem, i guess i wont be installing inkscape on my tablet, just my lap

I didn't answer earlier, because I don't know that much about tablets. But I had wondered if it might be related to the pen or settings affecting the pen.

I'm curious now though, with your new pen drivers, if you installed Inkscape again, whether the problem will be reproduced. If so, you would be welcome to submit bug report (Launchpad https://launchpad.net/inkscape). I'm thinking the new drivers might have been updated from your previous versions?

I have the impression that the Inkscape developers work pretty hard to keep Inkscape functional with tablets. So I suspect they would be interested to know if Inkscape is the culprit. Even if you can only confirm it on your system, a report would allow testing on other tablets and platforms.

Just a thought I'm glad you solved the problem, but hate to think Inkscape caused them.

I downloaded inkscape again but nothing weird happened , so I guess it was all my pen driver's fault, anyway I'll post again if something happens
