I am currently running V.46. I have never been able to print direct from Inkscape to an Epson Stylus Photo R220. Error message is "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will now close".

How do I set my printer up/or Inkscape to be able to print direct from Inkscape.

Do you have this problem even for simple drawings? Can you print a drawing with just one line or one rectangle on it?

What size is your document page set to?

There were many print bugs in 0.46, but simple things should print OK. You might want to try the 0.47pre4 pre-release.

This problem has now been resolved. Changed the printer and I am now able to print direct from Inkscape.

I encounter the same Problem.
My Configuration: Inkscape 0.47, Win7 x64 (but also occures on WinXP Pro 32bit), Canon-Printer (also on Lexmark). Document-Size: DIN A4 (21x29.7cm).

I tried to print my document at home and at work, same result: internal error. simple drawings (circle) can be printed.

I need this Document urgently printed (for my buisiness letterpaper), so I would be glad if someone could help.

My Problem is also solved: I do not know, what exactly Inkscape disliked but when I removed a multiline Textarea the Document can be printed.
