Distortion of scattered objects

Postby Janne » Tue Nov 18, 2014 5:23 am

Hi all - Zav taught me how to cut a path from an object and the path was used to create a scattered stroke.

How do I correct the distortion when the stroke is a copy of the original object and should fit perfectly?
The stroke was set to no color and I used the align tool.

Hi.

There is a large difference between parallel lines and translated lines.
The trace of the scattered pattern is a parallel line to the original path used as a core.
You need to offset normally half of the height of the pattern in the parametres.

Perfect, Lazur - actually I tried to set an offset ( - 5 ) but now I will change the dimensions of the object for the scatter, so I can set an exact value for the offset :)

Thank you very much!
