hiding guide node points?

Postby bahstid » Sat Oct 10, 2009 9:41 pm

It took me a while to figure out what the small circles that started appearing all over my drawing actually were, but it seems they are "nodes" or kind of center points of my guide lines which are displaying even when guides are hidden. Is there any way to turn off their display?

What version are you using? It's fixed in the latest dev versions

Whatever is in the Fedora repo's... "0.46-devel" it says. If its been "fixed" then I guess it was just a bug, in which case I guess I can live with it until I feel the urge to get involved with trying to make the latest version work, or it upgrades itself.

Thanks for the response!

Here's the bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/371893

It was fixed on 2009-05-31 so you must have a version that is older than that date. You can compile the dev version if you like or wait for 0.47 to come out (soon).
