Edit: never mind; it was because I had "edit paths by nodes" selected. Switching to "select and transform objects" (F1) "fixed" it.

Where have my align and distribute options gone?
I want to align but my align panel is missing most of its options. Any idea why or how to get them back? Thanks!
Edit: never mind; it was because I had "edit paths by nodes" selected. Switching to "select and transform objects" (F1) "fixed" it.

Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
