Pressure sensitive Graphics tablet

Postby Aurora1323 » Wed Oct 04, 2017 4:14 am

I have a huion graphics tablet, I downloaded inkscape 0.91 yesterday onto my prop that's running snow leopard, the pressure sensitivity works in other programs, but even though every time I open inkscape I go under input devices and set it's state to enabled, the pressure sensitivity won't work. Any suggestions? And yes I've checked huions website

Can you post screenshots of your input devices settings?
Edit -> Input Devices
and
Edit -> Preferences -> Input/Output -> Input devices

Especially in the first one, you may need to play around a bit.
(I'm not sure about pressure sensitivity support on Mac at all, though)

Pressure sensitivity in general works ok with the official (X11-based) Inkscape packages (0.91, 0.92.2), at least with a Wacom tablet (tested with a Bamboo CTH-470 on Mac OS X Lion) if the tablet pen is enabled accordingly (set to 'Screen') in 'Edit -> Input Devices'.

Also whenever I set it to screen, if I click on like, core pointer and come back, it's recast to disabled? Not sure if that's normal

Thanks, V!

I think Core Pointer corresponds to the mouse or touchpad, the standard device, at least. Can you make the requested screenshots, Aurora1323?
