Postby doukkali » Fri May 26, 2017 3:52 am

Hi room! thank your for your replay in advance.
Is there any trick to create a path with a profile like in illustrator, my goal is to take one path line and turned it into a stroke with different widths. Is there any width tool ? thanks

You could use PowerStroke or Pattern-along-Path directly. Or you can use the 'shape' option for the Pen/Bézier tool and the Pencil tool. This will apply a 'brush' to the path you draw, which you can later modify.

Usage instructions:
http://write.flossmanuals.net/start-wit ... ncil-tool/ (work in progress)
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... ating.html (description of shape option)
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
