I'm trying to use inkscape to create an svg for use in processing. There are some hidden problems however. The image looks fine in inkscape, here is a screenshot...

However when I use it in my processing sketch it looks like this...

I have tried to delete the transforms <g element. I have noticed that the screwed up parts have become part of the path of the main black outline.
