I've got a .svg file which is 89.3MB big. It's an A1 poster and it's crucial that the quality is perfect when printed. So I need to retain the A1 size dimensions and I need to retain quality. I need to print my poster at the university library, and the problem is that the university computers do not have Inkscape installed on them. This means that I can't simply print it from my .svg file. I need to convert my .svg file to a file format that can be read by any of software listed on this website http://www.ed.ac.uk/schools-departments/information-services/services/help-consultancy/ucreate/facilities/multimedia/software
It's been recommended to me that I save the poster as a PDF. I have no idea how to create a PDF from my .svg without losing any image quality. Can anybody help? I know this question probably gets asked a lot, but I've been searching the forums and can't find a suitable answer.
It doesn't necessarily have to be PDF, the computers in the library do have other graphics software packages. Does any piece of software other than Inkscape read .svg files?
If anyone has any ideas then I would be eternally grateful! My poster is due tomorrow (Friday 17 February)
