Hello,

I just encountered an issue with the "shift + mouse wheel = side scrolling" function. The issue being that it just stopped working. Up and down still works fine.

I love Inkscape, and I find that function quite useful. I would appreciate any suggestions as to getting it back.

Which version of Inkscape are you using? Is it reproducible in a recent development version?

Shift-mouse wheel doesn't work if the scroll bars are hidden. Maybe that's the case.
You can switch the scrollbars' visibility using Control-B.
