Hi,
I've create our club logo in bitmap. Now I needed to change it to vector...
Yes - I did it.
But now I have a new problem.
Our logo have points which are too thin to do shirts. And shirts will be printed in a given method.
The thickness of each part of the logo should be at least 1.5 mm, what should I do to get those parts larger without our logo suffers.
Can anyone help me? Or is it impossible..?

Can you put up a picture of it so we can help you? Are you planning on re-creating this as a vector, or did you already change it?

Welcome to InkscapeForum!
Indeed, it would be helpful if we could see which parts they are, so we can tell you how to fix it.
If they are stroked paths which are too narrow, you can easily change the stroke width in Fill and Stroke dialog > Stroke style tab. But if you used a trace engine to convert it, you many not have any strokes to edit. That's why we need to see it. Well, and also, if you could tell us how you converted it -- did you just draw it from scratch, or trace the raster image "by hand" using Pen or Pencil tool? Or did you use Trace Bitmap, or another trace engine?
I guess, in general, you could select the object and scale it (using Selection tool and Ctrl + drag a corner arrow, or using Transform dialog > Scale). But there are many situations where that just wouldn't work. If you can't make it work, we'll definitely need to see the image

Wau.. Thank You already!
I loaded logos in .svg and .png -files.
If I succeed, You'll find them here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?p761f7b5fgjzi45
http://www.mediafire.com/?qt2iw3cfpbaxdce
And for your information.. I have the logo in many file formats
And it's ment to be in transparent background... but we have (suprise!) all our things in black

Hhhmmm, well the SVG file really just contains the imported PNG. So I can't look at the components individually. Is it the border around each letter and object, which appears to be a lightish brown, that needs to be wider? It must be, because I don't see anything else that's very thin. Unless you're talking about the 2 arcs which appear to be sort of shaggy or maybe fuzzy. If it's some of those areas where it's a little thin, you'll have to use the Node tool and just drag the nodes to make it wider.
If it's the light brown border around all the individual elements, then you would just select them, then Object menu > Fill and Stroke > Stroke style tab > Width. You can change the units to mm, to make sure you get it the right width.
But you'll definitely have to use the SVG itself, and not an imported image

Re: Bitmap logo to vector... help with part >larger
There is no way to print this with screen printing, since there is no "screen" with such fidelity which would allow you to print this as is (in your example). It`s technically impossible. You`ll need to reduce level of details in order to make it acceptable for this printing method.
In order to preserve appearance of these two arcs (as is), perhaps you should make iron-on transfers for t-shirts which could provide results close to the required level of details?
Aside of these two options, everything else is just compromise. Either you would reduce level of details or to simplify arcs while keeping them recognizable as muddy wheels (if I understood/recognized it properly), some editing must occur which is quite often called redesign ,) Perhaps, just perhaps, careful bitmap tracing would give you the desired result (Path/Trace Bitmap) since it would simplify details automatically and that way you could try different settings and probably reach the satisfying result. Also, orange gradient might not print well, as represented in the example, since it also depends of screen`s fidelity and you might end up with smudgy orange.
Ofcourse, I could be wrong about your choice of printing method... even so, good luck, though.

Thank you both - brynn and Maestral !
I was little bit afraid of this. It´s going to be hard..
But first I didn't have a clue what I could at least try to do, now I have
And Maestral - You recognized it almost properly
It's an offroad tire called "bogger"
So I must begin to experiment what happens...

Re: Bitmap logo to vector... help with part >larger
Aren`t patterns on those tires sometimes manually carved? If so, I find them quite picturesque and easy for illustration but I would never guess it from your example. After I took another look, outer arc reminds of ring of fire / more than of a offroad tire. Could you try to emphasize "teeth" on outer arc and perhaps add another inner arc (which would hopefully help in describing the wheel rim)?
Let us know (and see) how it goes.

Oooohhh, a tire
Instead of the tire profile, what about using the tread pattern? (Like a tire track.)
