ok so i just started using inkscape and kinda understand it but not really anywho i was able to print on a regular letter sized page but after i finally learned how to change the canvas size to 4x6, re sized 2 pictures to fit this photo paper went to print preferences,clicked on print changed the paper size in the general tab to 4x6 clicked ok then went to the advanced tab changed the paper type to photo glossy clicked on ok then went back to general clicked apply then print and this is what i get...wrong paper size,the paper selected does not match the paper loaded in paper tray.???? please help im using windows vista and a kodak all in one printer not sure if thats of any help but any feedback is greatly appreciated.thank you for your time.

That sounds more like a problem with the printer, if I understand the problem correctly. The Print Preferences dialog is either part of the printer software, or the operating system. I'm not sure which, but I do know it's not part of Inkscape. It sounds like the printer used the wrong paper tray, so you'll have to figure out why it did that.
