Resize object with arbitrary base point?

Postby OJoik » Wed Feb 07, 2018 10:43 pm

Hello people, I'm new to this forum, but thought I'd try it.

I have a question. I'm trying to resize a picture with a base point inside the picture (not in the center). Is this possible?

With the object selected, click it a second time to switch to the skew/rotate handles. In the centre you should see a small cross - this is the origin point used for transformations. Drag it to another location, then click the object again to switch back to the resize handles. Hold down SHIFT when you resize to make it resize relative to the origin point, hold CTRL as well if you want to maintain the aspect ratio.

SHIFT-click on the cross to reset it back to the centre.
