Masked areas do not stop cutting paths in Gcode

Postby gentlejim » Mon Jun 24, 2013 5:31 pm

Has anyone experienced a Inkscape file that has an area masked off its the centre of the seconds ring, when making the gcode the area below the mask is still produced as if the mask was not there have attached the inkscape file but could not attach the gcode as that file type is not accepted. Thanks for your help Jim

You can attach anything if you zip it first.

Seems your fill wasn't kept in the gcode.
Don't know much about gcode, but you can draw such lines with no need of masking,
