Okay, folks, I'm a new guy who has just registered here and have zero experience with Inkscape. Sooo, your patience will be greatly appreciated.
I wish to import Autocad drawing files (.dwg) to Inkscape as vector files (or, convert them along the way??). Can someone kindly point my crooked nose to a way to do this?
Many thanks.
Sid
?Importing Autocad dwg files??
Re: ?Importing Autocad dwg files??
Hi.
Inkscape cannot open dwg files.
Try with dxf or plt instead.
You could try to use a pdf from autocad, however solid fills are usually made up from separate triangles in those and other fill patterns from separate lines as well.
