I had a logo designed for my BBQ team and I want to change some of the features: deletes some eyes and copy others to replace. Is that possible with gimp? I'm not totally 'puter illiterate just program challenged.....

If your logo is in a raster format -png, bmp, tiff, gif, jpeg, ...- then gimp is what you can edit that file.
If that's a vector, you can use inkscape.
