Unable to load X11 on my system, is there a solution yet or do I need to wait? Even if I need to wait that's ok because all good things are worth waiting for.

I'm not a Mac user, but I do know that there are certain restrictions when using Inkscape on a Mac, as far as which Mac version is best. Also, this question has been asked many, many times, and answered as well. So a search of the forum would probably uncover the answer for you

hddriver1 do you mind giving more details on what you did, I just have downloaded inkscape into my new mac and it doesn't run.
