Importing png image: embed/link option missing

Hello,

I accidentally check the "don't show again" box when importing an image and now I don't know how to recover this option. I would like that Inkscape asks me what I want to do each time I import an image. Any one knows how to get this option back?

Welcome to the forum!

It's under Edit > Preferences... (Shift + Ctrl + P) > Bitmaps > Ask about linking and scaling when importing.

Thanks! Problem solved!

I love Inkscape. I use it since about 2012 for everything that has to do with graphics, drawings, etc. I really like the integration that has Inkscape with Lyx.

Wow it's been eons since I did anything TeX, I've never used Lyx though. Are you a scientist? I'd love to hear more about your background and how you use Inkscape!
