Hi, I'm trying to use PDF+Latex files generated by Inkscape in an IEEE 2 column paper, and I want the figure to span both columns.
Usually, I would just use \begin{figure*} (i.e., with the asterisk). How do I do the same with the PDF+Latex?
I hope this was the right place to ask. Thanks in advance.
PDF+Latex spanning columns like begin{figure*}
Re: PDF+Latex spanning columns like begin{figure*}
Nevermind, this was a silly question. I'm still supposed to be using \begin{figure*}, and it all works the same. Any moderator, feel free to delete this thread.

Welcome user_bean!
Glad you got it "figured" out! (pun intended

No worries. We'll leave it in place, because someone else might have the same problem, and be able to find the answer here
