snap-to pixel

Postby besonen » Wed Nov 25, 2009 7:17 am

is there a way to set inkscape to snap-to the edge of a pixel?

specifically, i'm using inkscape to stitch together 18 pieces (bitmaps) of a larger picture. when i use inkscape to zoom in on the edge of each piece i use the pixels at the edge as a guide for correct positioning. it would be ever so much easier if inkscape could be set snap to the edge of each pixel of a bitmap.

is this possible to accomplish this in any manner whatsoever? i'm open to performing some graphic manipulation acrobatics.

thanks,
david

You can use 1px grid, and set snapping to grid.
