I am messing around with Inkscape for the first time really. I am using Microsoft Windows XP Professional. My question is: What file type do I use to save something as a "Picture" ? I am trying to create something and would like to upload it to a website to share it on a forum.
Can someone please help me out?

File->Export Bitmap allows you to save it as a PNG.
