Hello,
I mainly use the inkscape bezier tool and around each shape I draw I get a black line. Because I don't work with lines, I have to click them away with each new shape I draw.
What I'd like to know is if those lines can be switched off by default, so that I don't get black lines but a white fill instead for instance.
Thanks
no lines by default

You can set the desired style in Inkscape preferences under Tools > Pen, double click on the tool to open it at that exact place.
You can also set the style to be used before drawing each object if the preferences are set to Last used style; make sure you don't have anything selected and with Pen tool active click and Shift click on the color chips to set fill and stroke colors for the future object.
