Hello, i need help to get old kanjis from an image.
I think it's possible to vectorize the image to recognize the kanji, but then I need to create a character with that extracted format information. i need help whit this, please tell me at my email how to do this. thanks

That highly depends on your image quality - just in case the lettering is clear in one color I´d load it into GIMP - select for that specific color and convert this selection into a path which is exportable to SVG.

We can't see your email address....not unless you set your board preferences that way. (Most people don't, unless they want a lot of spam.) If you can share the image with us, we can give you an idea what it will take to trace the image and take the kanjis out of it.

I don't know how many of us are willing to help via email. Typically we like questions to be posted in the forum (and answered in the forum), because that info will be helpful for others who might be having the same problem. (That way, we aren't privately answering the same question over and over and over again.) In fact, you can probably search the forum and find help for this tracing problem, without waiting for someone to email you.

But if that's the only way you want to work, say that in your next message. Then anyone who is interested will send you a PM (Private Message) where you can share your address safely (or they can share theirs). In that way, you can keep your email address safe, but still potentially get help.
