Problems with snapping nodes to each other

Postby MillionsterNutzer » Tue Dec 17, 2013 11:49 pm

Hi!

I'm currently working on a script icon. I have the basic scrtip object so far now but wanted to add an additional line to the top an the bottom of the object. I though this could be done easily by creating a separate line that snaps to the corresponding nodes on the main object, but for whatever reason snapping won't work for me. I've checked my settings and everything looks fine for me... Could someone please have a look at my screenshots and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have selected the nodes that should go together in the screenshot. Unfortunately the cusp node of the line won't snap to anything but the grid.

Regards

Ralf

Hi!

On the panel to the right, you enabled snapping of the nodes in general, but
neither of the snap to path, snap to smooth nodes option, thus it's not working.
Click on their icon and the snapping will work.

Hi Lazur,

you are right! I only paid attention to "Snap nodes or handles" and forgot about the other options... So easy...

Thanks!

Ralf
