Hi, I posted yesterday but my question was not answered.
I am simply attempting to make a horizontal line stay horizontal when I move sections of it.
How do I make previously created nodes snap to guidelines? When I first create a bezier curve for instance I can "snap handle to guide" as I desire. However if I wish to later move this curve and again snap the nodes to a guideline, I am unable to do so. The nodes simply refuse to snap to the guideline.
I have the "Snap guides" option selected on the toolbar.

I'll answer my own question. To fix this, I had to select the "Snap cusp nodes..." option on the toolbar.
