I used pdf2ps and and pstops to fine-tune a 2-up document. The odd page is out of position, and I pulled it into inkscape in order to drag the page back. Unfortunately, inksacpe converts all text into a common font and severely kerns the individual characters. I ran into this problem before on a schematic, and found no solution. However, for text pages, I don't need to manipulate the text as text, I just need to drag around large blocks of text. Is there anyway to get inkscape to not interpret the text, just treat them as blocks? When I save-as PDF, I want the positions of the blocks to change but the text inside should be exactly as it was in the original.
