That's a great interview. I agree that all SVG needs is push from a major company. Google Maps is the perfect example. Until then it's just going to be an another vector format for creating pictures and will never be ideal for use on the web. Unless, of course, Microsoft suddenly include support--but they won't since it competes somewhat with Silverlight.
