Inkscape and ghostscript, problems with ps file

Postby MarcinW » Mon Aug 03, 2015 12:47 am

Hi,

I have problem with opening postscript file in Inkscape after reinstallation system on my computer.
After installation new system and Inkscape, I installed Ghoscript and added It to environment variables (C:\Program Files\gs\gs9.10\lib; C:\Program Files\gs\gs9.10\bin to path in environment variables) But when I try to open ps file Inkscape retuns message:

Inkscape has received additional data from the script executed. The script did not return an error, but this may indicate the results will not be as expected.
Error reading temporary file: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'c:\\users\\marcin\\appdata\\local\\temp\\inkscapeportabletemp\\tmpd_wn7f.svg'

And Inkspace ends with message "Failed to load the requested file D:\Projects\PCB\Atmega\pcb_inv.ps"

I tried to install Ghoscript in diffrent versions (changed each time in environment variables) but each time Inkspace works as below.

I use system Win7 64bit. I tried to use Inkspace in version 0.91 and 0.48. Ghoscript in version 9.10 64bit, 9.10 32bit and older 8.70 32bit, but each time I have the same problem.

Could someone help in solving the problem with Inkscape and ghostscript, please ?

(C:\Program Files\gs\gs9.10\lib; C:\Program Files\gs\gs9.10\bin to path in environment variables)

Remove the space between ; and C as highlighted in red text above.
